Self Contained Compactor

The Self-Contained Compactors are integrated units that include a compactor with charging hopper and a container; both units are mounted on a common frame and transported to the landfill for unloading.

These types of compactors are most applicable for areas that generate significant quantities of food waste or other wet materials since the entire unit is sealed and removed for unloading at the landfill.

The self-contained compactors can provide for more sanitary and cleaner environment in the loading dock area since the compactor unit and receiver box are never separated, thereby eliminating the opportunity for discharge of liquids or litter during loading of the unit onto the roll-off truck.
